It is a small village-style accommodation. There are a total of 7 houses and two saunas here, and they are all located close to each other. What peninsula is this I have ended up on?

It is the peninsula with the historical name Marienholm (officially also known as Crimean holm). From 1830 to 1890, there was an active port here, where quite a few high-ranking heads of state and members of the tsarist family landed to spend the invigorating summer months in the resort town of Haapsalu. During the Soviet era, a large fish workshop was located here, which closed its doors for good at the beginning of the 2000s and then slowly began to fall into disrepair.

In 2022, Scandium Kinnisvara bought the area, demolished the dilapidated buildings, and started developing a new living environment. In the fall of 2023, construction work will begin to create new low-rise apartment buildings with summer-type architecture. In the next ten years, up to 150 apartments, promenades and leisure areas, a small harbor, wharves, and hopefully a modern SPA hotel which Haapsalu has been waiting for a long time, will be created here.
