Finding a beautiful mirror house near Tallinn could have been a real challenge just a year ago. In the last six months, however, several of them have appeared in this area. All with their own beautiful advantages.
Mirror houses directly in the resort town Haapsalu
The newest mirror houses can be found right in Haapsalu. On the Marienholm Peninsula (also known as the Crimean Peninsula), which was reopened to the public in 2023, a beautiful complex consisting of five mirror houses and a sauna was opened right on the seashore at the beginning of summer. In the coming years, a new residential quarter with elegant architecture will be built here. At the end of the peninsula leisure facilities, wharves, swimming areas and cafes wii arise. It will be named after the historical name of the region – Marienholm.
Since the mirror houses are the first opportunity to spend the night on the long-closed peninsula and experience its charms, the small village was affectionately named Tiny Marienholm.
Beautiful design on a beautiful coast
Scandium Kinnisvara stands behind the Tiny Marienholm mirror houses together with its subsidiary Scandium Living. However, the highly regarded interior architect Lilia Kristianson took care of the beautiful contents, designing the houses with two different contents. The light-colored mini-villas have the name and feeling Rannaniit. However, the more luxurious houses with a fireplace and sauna are in dim colors. The abundance of details is surprising
In addition to the beautiful location, excellent sea view and beautiful architecture, all the houses surprise with their abundance of details. In this way, in the houses you can find a good amount of what is necessary for cooking. So that the morning porridge, omelette or pancake can be prepared comfortably. A Nespresso coffee machine is responsible for high-quality coffee. For a good night’s sleep, a sleep box with eye patches and ear plugs is ready. An observant lodger will notice an educational sticker on the window with the names of the birds that can be observed and clever labels on various objects. There is a lot of fun to discover here!
